Must have a minimum of one of the following Police Officers Standards and Training (POST) certifications: PC832 Laws of Arrest with PC832 Firearms, POST Reserve Training Mod A/B/C/D, or POST Basic Certificate 3. Possession of BSIS permits for security guard and exposed firearm 4. Graduation from approved Bodyguard or Personal Protection school (Executive Protection Officers Only) 5. CPR and First Aid certifications 6. Completion of tactical firearms courses (Front Sight, Thunder Ranch, etc.) 7. High school diploma Highly Recommended 1. Active sworn peace officer status or honorably retired peace officer status with concealed weapons permit issued by an agency in the State of California 2. Advanced First Aid, Lifeguard, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certifications 3. Automatic External Deliberator (AED) training and certification 4.
